who doesn't like a bit of cake, right? good ones can be a life affirming thing. needless to say they don't hang around for long here, especially the carrot variety.
meanwhile the summer gallops on in a haze of weddings, deliveries, trips in flora, gardening and house renovation. life feels busy.
