the lotte & bloom shop is open for business!

we're now stocking the gorgeous volpe & volpe mid-century swans. they're perfect as a vase, planter or look just as fancy sitting on a mantel or dresser. i'm using them for weddings this summer filled to the brim with flowers, as you'd imagine.

all of the swans are 100% MADE IN ENGLAND which is marvellous because as you gaze appreciatively at your wonderful swan you can rest easy in the knowledge that you're supporting british manufacturing to boot. double win.

even dita is a fan so you'll be in good company.

flowered up at anthropologie

we headed off to edinburgh early on sunday morning with a van-full of goodies, set up camp at anthropologie for the day and got stuck in. i braved my nerves and taught a little class with some soup tureens, then we all had a play with the flowers and made some crazy big corsages. 

an older lady near the end of the day made up the maddest corsage i've ever seen, fixed loads of ribbons onto that bad-boy for good measure, and proudly insisted i help her pin it on her upside down. madam, i salute you. thanks so much to everyone for coming along and bringing an adventurous spirit. it was fun.
